Hey.
Nightflyer asked me, one of these days, "would you want to do a Christmas Calendar like Eva did last year?", and I thought, it could be an awesome tradition of ours to make one every year. I worried a little how I'd come up with anything nice, but that solved itself as soon as I sat down and wrote the first letters. From then on it was just a whole lot of fun and I wrote the first version last night (I blame the Nightflyer for all lost sleep). I'll fine tune it later (or not, dunno) but I also thought I might draw little cute illustrations along the way. Nothing too complicated, but just to keep myself entertained since I won't be allowed to blog about my own stuff and already know how the story goes.
Main point:
There will be a Christmas Calendar, it starts the 1st of December, and it will be right here.
There might even come teasers further up, so stay tuned.

That's nice ;) Was thinking about writing Rosenröd II, but maybe there's too much fluffy puffy kings and queens. :)
A very good idea Da-Ryun, or should I say Nightflyer? Anyway keep up the good work. Looking forward to the result ^_^
You, my friend, are great.
Hehe yay! ^^
*Crash* [The internet grammar bot has entered the blog] Hrm: The sentence "You, my friend, are great." is grammatically incorrect. A correct form would be either "You, my friend, is great." or "You, my friends, are great." depending on the intended meaning. *Crash* [The internet grammar bot has left the blog]
Really? I'm not sure why - wouldn't "my friend" be a subordinate clause of the sentence? The subject of the sentence is still "you" rather than "friend", so the verb "are" would point towards the subject, right?
*Crash* [The internet grammar bot has entered the blog] That is possible. *Crash* [The internet grammar bot has left the room]

haha ^^
I would still love to see Rosenröd II... I'm curious what people would do this time ^^ I assure you that even as I've chosen to retain (or steal, alternatively borrow) some characteristics from Rosenröd I, I don't think our calendars would collide in any way XD
As for the sentence, even if it sounds ass-hat stupid, I also think it should be "are great". Although my final suggestion would be to not use that particular construction at all. For estethical as well as peaceful reasons.
What's wrong with the sentence? Honestly, I speak like this all the time. Are you imply my speech bad?
Silence! I kill you!
Oh, my! Who ever knew that World War III would be triggered by an argument about English grammar. Granted, there are a lot of things you could argue about when it comes to English grammar, but still...
Shakespeare would surely be proud of your grammar, Rik. I always said, function over esthetics, but estethics over correctness, though. And hey, who started WWIII here :P
